Basso wins duel with Bruno Magalhães

The Italian driver Giandomenico Basso ( Peugeot 207 S2000 ) today won for the fourth time , the Madeira Wine Rally , in his 54 . Edition , beating competition from the Portuguese Bruno Magalhaes .

Magalhães ( Peugeot 207 S2000 ) made ​​a remarkable recovery this morning to be the fastest in five of the six special stages held , substantially reducing the difference ( 19.9 seconds) that separated him from the rival contention after the first stage but eventually finished 7.3 seconds .
