Although Madeira may be a small island, but in Funchal trade is very large, with many streets full of shops and several top shopping malls, where are gathered the big brands like McDonald’s.

Dolce Vita Shopping Centre
The “Dolce Vita” is the newest shopping mall and is located in the city centre. Opened in October 2007 this shopping centre has over 50 stores, a supermarket, restaurants and clothing stores.
Forum Madeira Shopping Centre
The Forum Madeira was inaugurated on April 5, 2005, required an investment of 70 million euros and is located at the entrance of Funchal, adjacent to a residential area middle and at the best hotels in the area. The Forum Madeira has about 20,000 m2 of commercial area comprising 80 stores, spread over 3 floors and has 800 parking spaces.
The Madeira Shopping
The Madeira Shopping is one of the largest shopping centers on the island of Madeira, located in Santa Quitéria, in the parish of Santo António, Funchal, in an area of good accessibility, near the exit of Highway.
It has 106 stores in total, occupying an area of approximately 26,600 sqm, has 19 restaurants and seven cinemas in Castello Lopes. Regarding the car park there are 1,000 free parking spaces.
