Pool with sea water – Porto Moniz
The pools Porto Moniz are the main attraction of this small village on the north coast of Madeira island. The sea ‘throws up’ between bizarre lava rocks that fill the tide with crystal clear waters.

The pools Porto Moniz is a very interesting phenomenon of nature, not only by the excellent swimming conditions they offer, but also for its extreme beauty. Ideal for relaxing, swimming, sunbathing or just for a visit, have 3,800 m² of swimming and 3217 m² of solariums.
And were thought to all: the beach complex includes a playground and handicap access. Space is guarded by five lifeguards and offers excellent conditions: changing rooms with lockers to store personal property, excellent hygiene, parking, bar and first aid post.
A site not to be missed, mainly because the journey there is simply breathtaking.
