The Ronaldo Statue is a bronze sculpture of the Portuguese professional footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. The statue stands at 8 feet tall and is located in Funchal, the capital city of Ronaldo’s home country Portugal. The statue was unveiled on December 21, 2014 and cost around $225,000 to construct. The sculpture was designed by the Madeiran artist Ricardo Veloza and portrays Ronaldo in a realistic manner, wearing his Portugal national team jersey and with his trademark hairstyle.
