Trail Funchal 2024

The Adventure Club Madeira features 2. Edition of Funchal Trail , Trail Funchal 2024 Running an event that will take place on May 2024 , with departures and arrivals provided in Funchal Ecological Park . One event , two long distances , the ZMM 25KM TRAIL and TRAIL 1150m D + D + FX 15KM 550m , and a comprehensive range of experiences Trail Running To All : I Funchal Youth Trail Ride and TFX .

The ZMM TRAIL with 25km of pure Trail is a real challenge to Trail lovers , who like the technical difficulty of race in full mountain , 1200m and 1595m between altitude . Distance and moderate slope , divsersos environments between open spaces and forest. Athletes will experience multiple experiences of floors in ways that will traverse, large and easy running, narrow and winding, with steep to climb or descend, very technical floors, earth, rock or gravels, dry or wet, with slopes or without a permanent vegetation adventure Trail Running.

Route of 15km circuit starting with the river in the area Cales passing by High Peak and climb to Chão da Lagoa pro forest paths, with moderate difficulty. Has all the characteristics of vehicles running trail, but with less distance and gap, providing a good opportunity for those who begin in the sport or simply wish to enjoy the atmosphere of a competition, but a walking pace.

In order to enable participation of all the Adventure Club Madeira will provide trail circuits with distances tailored to young people aged 10 years. Three distances , 700 meters , 1500m and 3000m will be the challenges posed to the young.

Everyone can be part of the event , supporting or actively participating athletes ! On May 18 go to Funchal Ecological Park , support the athletes and meet some points of interest around the Ribeira das Cales ( Plant Nurseries , High Peak , Quinta Park ) on a guided tour ! Make physical exercise in the nature of the party participating in Trail Running !
